Greater Lansing Potters' Guild has been operating as a non-profit,
member-run, educational cooperative dedicated to the art of ceramics
since 1969. Student classes, community
outreach programs and semi-annual sales
are important parts of the Guild’s agenda. The guild facility
is a working studio in Haslett, Michigan, with spacious work areas,
a variety of kilns to provide a full range of creative possibilities,
and a meeting room with an extensive library.

Bowls - The 24th annual Empty Bowls event will take
place on Thursday, October 2nd, 11-2 at Troppo's, 111 E Michigan
Ave, Lansing MI. For a $20 donation, you can choose your favorite
from hundreds of hand made bowls, and enjoy a lunch of delicious
soup and bread. Proceeds go to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
- On September 20 & 21, the GLPG will host a demonstration workshop
by Richard Aerni. Open to non-members as well as GLPG members, the
workshop will focus on the creation of dramatic pieces, such as
Aerni's shown below, using a combination of slab-building and throwing.

Classes at the Greater Lansing Area Potters Guild
- Fall term classes run from September 15 - November 17, 2014. Classes
are now full. Fall term instructors are Ned Krouse
for the morning class and Jim Reinert for the evening class. For

Program - The Greater Lansing Area Potters' Guild
offers two classes (one morning, one evening) for 10 week terms,
four times a year. Although limited to individuals over 18 years
old, both beginning and advanced students may enroll in the classes.
Scheduled lab hours provide students with access to the Guild facilities
during the week. Both the morning and evening classes are held on
